Looking for a better matcha latte? Matcha and green tea latte have become a staple for the health-conscious. But, as with almost everything, not all the matcha latte and green tea latte are the same. What’s the difference? The differences include its nutritious values such as calories, toxins, etc. and the costs. The expensive latte readily available at a stylish cafe may not be as pure/healthy as you think even if you are spending a fortune. It’s time to try a better matcha latte (a better green tea latte).

You may say, “But they say Matcha is healthy, and I don’t know how to make it!”

Yes, Matcha is healthy as long as it’s organic & lead-free, and is offered with clean, healthy ingredients. Matcha latte loaded with a ton of refined sugar may be offering you an opportunity to “experience what green-colored drink tastes like”–that’s about it. Stop spending a fortune on the ‘fake-health-drink’ because it is so easy to make a really healthy and delicious matcha latte at home. And don’t worry, you have the recipe for a better matcha latte or green tea latte, right here!

Now here is full disclosure: we didn’t come up with this recipe. All the credit belongs to one of our happy customers: Kelly Shattuck.

Kelly recently found our water-process-decaf Edible Green Sencha Powder, which offers you lots of antioxidants with almost zero caffeine. Below is the email Kelly sent to us. With her generous permission, we are very happy to share this with you.

Kelly’s Email with her “Better Matcha Latte” recipe

Aloha Kiyomi for SEI MEE TEA,

I absolutely LOVE IT!   It is exactly how I had hoped it would taste without the caffeinated reaction I get from other decaf green teas.  I had been using a so-called Matcha Decaf green tea that is no longer available. Which still gave me some side effects of caffeine.

In searching for another decaf green tea like Matcha I found SEI MEE TEA and was educated through your most excellent website about the decaf process of Green Tea/Matcha.

I’m so happy I found SEI MEE TEA. The flavor and texture of your Edible Green Japanese Sencha IS THE BEST ever…. Thank you for teaching me and taking such skills and time to make your SENCHA product.

I make this every morning to start my day. It is my HAPPY place…   1/2 a teaspoon of Sencha Powder, 2 tablespoons of organic maple syrup, add a little water and shack up in a jar. Then I add ice and 1.5 cups of unsweetened organic coconut milk.  BETTER than anything Starbucks has to offer.

Thank you again for teaching and producing best product practices!  I’m a customer for life. As soon as my son has finished his current Matcha tea I’ll order him some from you as well.  I have four boys and I’ll have them all drinking it soon by Christmas!  “Smiles”

Mahalo,

Kelly
