Learn How to Choose & How to Use Green Tea Powder

You bet!  Vault, our local Health and Fitness Center, is now introducing our MATCHA and Edible Green Sencha Powder at their place. Talk to Noelle, and choose the best Green Tea for you! Now, here are 3 big reasons why you want to drink Green Tea when you exercise.

Reason 1: Because Green Tea neutralizes Free Radicals

Free radicals are toxic byproducts of oxygen metabolism that cause significant damage to living cells and tissues in a process called “oxidative stress.” Free radicals are created either from normal essential metabolic processes in the human body (more exercise, more free radicals!), or from external sources such as exposure to X-rays, ozone, cigarette smoking, air pollutants, and industrial chemicals. Neutralize Free radicals and reduce muscle damage caused by free radicals with Green Tea while you exercise.

Reason 2: Because Green Tea enhances Metabolism

Several studies show that green tea can boost metabolism and help people burn about 3-4% more calories each day. The substances in green tea increase levels of hormones that cause fat cells to break down fat. The effect is stronger when exercising.

Reason 3: Because Green Tea offers steady energy and enhances your mood

Green Tea naturally contains Caffeine and L-theanine, a natural relaxant exclusively found in Green Tea. L-theanine increases the activity of the inhibitor neurotransmitter GABA, which has anti-anxiety effects. It also increases dopamine and the production of alpha waves in the brain. Luckily, you don’t need boiling water to enjoy the super-powerful Green Tea Antioxidants when you use MATCHA or Edible Green Sencha Powder!  Here are a few easy recipes to whip up refreshing, tasty Green Tea!
