Learn How to Choose & How to Use Green Tea Powder

Prepare the pudding a few days ahead, and serve them with several topping options. It’s a fun way to offer a healthy breakfast or snack for your family. Enjoy both Matcha and Hojicha Chia Pudding!

Matcha / Hojicha Chia Pudding

Instructions

  • 4 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Matcha / Hojicha Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Lucuma Powder
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 1/4 c. Milk of your choice, unsweetened (we use almond milk)
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1tsp Vanilla Extract

Ingredients

  1. Mix Chia Seeds, Matcha or Hojicha, Lucuma powder, and salt in a 32 oz mason jar. Close the lid, shake well.
  2. Add Milk, Maple syrup, and Vanilla extract. Close the lid, and shake well for 15 seconds. Leave it for a few minutes, and shake again. Repeat for the next 15 minutes or so, until Chia seeds start to expand and the liquid starts to solidify.
  3. Keep it overnight in the fridge, while pudding continues to get firmer. 

Matcha Topping Ideas

Goji Berries; Pumpkin Seeds, raw and shelled; Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder (Use Ceremonial Grade for topping); Lightly Toasted Coconut Flakes. Enjoy with toppings. Experiment with different toppings and have fun!

Hojicha Topping Ideas

Coconut, unsweetened and shredded; Dried Fruit (Raisins, Golden Raisins, Cherries, Cranberries, Mulberries, etc.); Chopped Candied Ginger; Chopped Cashew Nut
