Learn How to Choose & How to Use Green Tea Powder

Did you know Green Tea is good for gut health, too?  This recipe uses many prebiotic foods for ingredients!

Ingredients

  • ½ c Olive Oil
  • ½ c Sourdough starter
  • ½ c Milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Honey
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Grated lemon rind
  • ¼ c Apple sauce
  • ¼ to ½ c Brown sugar (optional)
  • 2c Old fashioned oats
  • ½ c Flaxseed meal
  • ½ c Whole wheat
  • ¾ c Dried cranberries
  • ½ c Chopped dates
  • ¼ c Chopped walnuts
  • 1 Tbsp. Pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. Baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Quality organic green tea leaf  (We used Fukamushi Sencha.) Or, 1 tsp. Organic Matcha.

Directions

  1. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  2. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Pour into a 13-by-9-inch pan lightly coated with cooking spray.
  4. Bake at 375º F for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Oatmeal Green Tea Breakfast Bar

A breakfast bar filled with prebiotic ingredients that is good for gut health!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Olive Oil

  • ¼ cup Walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Quality Organic Green Tea Leaf or Matcha (We used Fukamushi Sencha for Tea Leaf)

Instructions
