Spicy Tomato Sauce
A delicious sauce for Lamb Meatballs.
(red pepper sauce)
Add garlic to the olive oil in the pan used for browning the meatballs and heat until golden (1-2 minutes).
Add tomatoes, harissa, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 5-10 minutes until sauce is thickened.
Add meatballs and any juices that have collected on the plate back into the sauce and simmer, covered, until meatballs are cooked through (about 15 minutes.)
