This house is currently under construction and is expected to be completed before the end of October 2021. 

The tea house will offer an amenity providing you comfort while enjoying the spectacular natural beauty. The amenity includes a tatami room with a “tokonoma” alcove (a traditional tea ceremony room style), a full kitchen, a full bathroom with a soaking bathtub, A/C, wifi, and a loft bedroom with futons for two people. The view is 360 degrees with easy access from the road. 

Upon completion of the building, this house will be available for the following services:

• Rent to stay for a short term as a “Zen” retreat
• Experience an authentic Japanese tea ceremony
• Learn tea tasting and benefits
• Experience tea cooking / Japanese food cooking
• Participate in a meditation or meditation class
• Rent the whole space (20 acres) for your special celebrations, including wedding, anniversaries, family reunion, etc.

We call this facility “Sho-Kin-Tei,” Japanese for “the murmuring sound of the wind rustling Pine boughs.”
